OneSource Customs & Logistics (OSCL), a veteran-owned freight forwarder and licensed customs brokerage, is seeking a part-time Depot & Logistics Operator Trainee to join its dedicated team in Neerabup, WA.

This opportunity offers a nationally accredited traineeship Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations combined with practical, real-world experience in logistics and warehousing. The successful candidate will work 15 hours per week, with flexible scheduling to suit school hours or other commitments.

Key Responsibilities Include:

The Depot & Logistics Trainee will receive structured training across various functions, including:

• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Receiving and dispatching freight
• Customer service and cargo check-in under depot contracts
• Pick and pack operations, stock control, and general warehousing
• Assisting with the coordination of import/export shipments
• Document processing, shipment tracking, and data entry
• Liaising with clients, carriers, and suppliers to ensure operational efficiency

Ideal Candidate

OSCL is looking for a motivated individual who possesses:

• A willingness to undertake a Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations
• Physical fitness and comfort handling freight
• Sound communication skills and strong attention to detail
• Competence with IT systems including email and data entry
• A proactive attitude and eagerness to build a career in logistics
• Adaptability to fast-paced and evolving work environments

Essential Requirements:

• Must be an Australian citizen (required for ABF Fit and Proper Person assessment)
• Must pass a Police Check
• Own reliable transport is essential due to the depot’s industrial location
